Common Questions

Book online, in person or by calling 0141 556 0039. There will usually be a few spaces available to book before the class starts but it's always a good idea to book in advance to ensure a place.

We have 3 different ways to pay for classes making it easy for you to choose the option that suits you.

1. Drop into a single class for £7.50
2. Buy a Class Card to attend any classes you choose from our Adult Class Collection.

  • 5 Class Card £32.50, valid for 5 weeks from your first class and must be activated within 1 month of purchase.
  • 10 Class Card £60, valid for 8 weeks from your first class and must be activated within 1 month of purchase.
  • 3. Book one of our Adult Blocks of classes, these really help dancers progress particularly at Beginners level. A 4 week block is £26. Blocks begin on a specified date and classes run concurrently. If you have to miss a class, please let us know in advance and you will be able use a make up class to attend something else within the same timeframe as the block booked.

Adult Graded classes must be booked in monthly blocks at the rate of £7.50 per class. Please check our timetable for up to date block prices.

Blaze Dance Academy welcomes new students to try out our classes with a 3 week trial. Trials cost £7 for classes in our Junior School and £9 for classes in our Senior School.

Following your 3 week trial, all fees must be paid on the 1st of each month. Junior School classes cost £11 per month and Senior School classes are £16 per month.

Examination Fees, Costumes and other events are at an additional cost. We strive to keep costs low and always give dancers a reasonable amount of time to make payments.

Wear comfortable clothing suitable for the class you are attending. In general, leggings and a top are fine. Please see individual class descriptions for any specific guidelines.

Bring water, indoor shoes, if necessary, and maybe a small towel. There are changing facilities at Dance HQ but you should bring your own soap and towel.

Initially, legings and a top or shorts and t-shirt are fine. Once dancers have settled in, they should wear the school uniform for their level. Orders are taken within the studio.

Class Levels are easy to understand and there to help you make the most of your classes. Open Level classes are suitable for all. If you are unsure which level you should attend just ask and your teacher will be able to help.

We are members of the British Association of Teachers of Dance and place dancers in the grade according to previous experience. Please contact us to find out what level you should attend before booking.

The majority of class levels are dependent on the age of the dancer. However, in the case of dancers joining our Junior 1, Junior 2 and Senior classes you must be at a set standard. Please contact us in advance of booking to confirm.

If you have to miss a class for sickness or a clash of commitments, you are welcome to attend another class within the same calendar month where it's available.

Missed classes cannot be carried forward under any circumstances.

All sales are final and will not be returned.
