The original swing dance, Lindy Hop is a fun and energetic partner dance that came from America and was very popular in the 30's and 40's when big band jazz was at it's peak. This class is for absolute beginners yet we will progress through several moves in each class. We will go over the basic footwork at the start of every class so you can turn up to any class if it's your first time.
Often called "the cartoon dance" due to the energetic legs and still upper body. This swing dance was made popular by college kids in the 30's and 40's. It is an energetic, partner dance that is great to learn alongside Lindy Hop.
This class is for absolute beginners yet we will progress through several moves in each class. We will go over the basic footwork at the start of every class so you can turn up to any class if it's your first time.
We recommend that people should be Lindy Hopping regularly for 18 months+ before coming to this class. By regularly we mean at least one weekly class, regular social dancing on a weekly basis and it will be helpful if you've had at least three Lindy Hop dance camps or weekenders before attending this class.
We will focus on a mixture of technique and more advanced moves with more one-to-one time between students & teachers.
babyballet is a fun, award-winning pre-school dance concept for girls and boys from 6 months to 4.5 years. YogaBellies prenatal sessions incorporate traditional yoga asanas (postures); self-hypnosis and deep relaxation; soothing comfort techniques for birthing and unique YogaBellies® touch therapies for mum and baby. These classes are open to all women and 86% of our students have never set foot in a yoga class before. We have a whole host of studio and water based therapies that have been custom made for pregnant mummies…
